Puran Poli is typically a Maharashtrian sweet stuffed Roti. The stuffing is made by the boiled grinded Chana dal and sugar and cooked to perfection. This dish is called Bobbattu in Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. Pure Ghee on top of this adds wonders to the taste.
